Wizard and Glass Book Sculpture UNLIT by wetcanvas Wizard and Glass Book Sculpture UNLIT by wetcanvas
Rhea stands outside of her hut clutching the Pink Bend. Her mutie cat and serpent familiars lurk nearby.

More detailed pictures will be posted. Check for pictures with the LEDs lit.

Commissioned piece made from the 6th book in Steven King's "Dark Tower" series. The crystal ball and fire place are both lit with colored LED lights. Most certainly my most challenging and time consuming sculpture to date but I am extremely happy with he way it turned out.

If you haven't read the Dark Tower series, DO IT. If you're a King fan, you understand how all of his stories are interwoven and I believe they tie into this series more than any other. You simply won't get everything King has to offer without reading them.

Great!  I always worry they're not clear enough.  Keep checking back, I'll be working on the actual Dark Tower made from book 7 very, very soon.

This is really nicely done Jodi, I like the way you sometimes light your sculptures. It adds another dimension. I'm not a King fan but might just have to give this series a try in view of your recommendation.

Thank you!  I like them lit too.  It highlights certain areas you might not be drawn to otherwise.  I'm not the biggest King fan either but my husband convinced me to read the series.  Nagged until I read it to shut him up, more like it.  The first book is a bit slow but if you can get through it the series is worth the time.
