I don't usually post book WIPs, but I really like this little guy. He is the old man from "The Fisherman and the Sea". Probably my most detailed person yet. Separate forehead, eyelids, eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, beard, mustache, and of course ears. And that fishing pole was really fun to make. I'm interested to see how the wire and paper look together in the sculpture. More to come...just waiting for the glue to dry...
I'm so glad that you showed us this one. sometimes it is appropriate to show a WIP especially in this case as we get to see him from a different angle.
haha, love it!
Oh his little face!
Hehe, he's a cutie isn't he? He's one of those pieces that I'm not going to want to sell!
Are you able to duplicate it? You could make little book ends out of this guy, I swear, he's precious.
Haha that's clever ^.^
this an amazing start to your WIP.
Love this story and love how you represent it with this.
The amount of work that goes into your pieces you should post more WIP! He's coming out so great! Can't wait to see the finished project.
Thank you! Here's hoping I can make the marlin as well as the fisherman. I never thought a fish would be harder than a person!
