Vineyard Mural Commissionby *wetcanvas

Mural commission. Can you tell they like their wine? This is approximately 57" long by 22" high. Done with acrylic paints and finished with a high gloss seal. About 18 hours of work time.

I dislike painting (I don't think it's my strong point) but I actually had a lot of fun doing this. The couple was very welcoming and the husband collects Fredrick Remmington drawings and sculptures. I learned a lot from him. I appreciate people who not only collect, but have a interest in learning about what and who they're collecting. Overall it was a great experience.

I have done a few wall murals before. They are no easy task, and for someone whose strong suit is not painting? This is remarkable. Not too serious, not too whimsical, and a nice color palette for their decor (what I can see). Good work.

Thank you! I'm so relieved to get a good feedback from someone with experience in the area. We took the time to match the green and the reds to what she already had in the room. I think that helped it all come together in the end.
