Shakespeare's characters take the stage in this book alteration. Illustrations depict scenes from "The Taming Of The Shrew", "The Merchant Of Venice", "Much Ado About Nothing", "As You Like It", "All's Well That Ends Well", and "Love's Labor's Lost". The characters stand on three stages, with others watching in the audience.

Yes, the edges cut inside of the book are a little rough, but I like it. It gives the alteration an "old" feeling, for lack of a better word. The book's pages were really not much thicker then tissue paper. When you're trying to fit multiple Shakespeare plays in one book I suppose you have to make the pages as thin as possible. Not easy to work with, but I like the overall effect.

The book altered is "The Works of Shakespeare: The Comedies" 1950.

You've accomplished what you said you wanted to do here. There are some good 3 dimensional effects too.

Really great idea. It is also going to be done for his histories and tragedies? (hint, hint!)
