Pirate Ship Book Alteration by wetcanvas Pirate Ship Book Alteration by wetcanvas
A pirate ship is fighting the stormy seas and exploding out of the pages! "Kidnapped" by Robert Louise Stevenson was fist published in 1886. The volume altered in this piece is later, around the 1950's. The rough waves are sculpted from the books pages, while the ship (constructed from another book due to the fragility of the "Kidnapped" book's pages) cuts through the pages, making waves of it's own.

This all started with my husband saying, "I'm not sure if you can..." Really, now? Never tell me I can't make something. So, I was up until two last night making this. And guess who got to stay up and help me...

This version is sold, but I do currently have a remake: [link]. My shop: [link]

Thank you!  I do teach demos, but typing it out is hard.  Think of it like drawing - break everything own to basic shapes, create the shapes, and build it back together.
