An alteration just for book lovers! The pages of this book have been folded to shape a heart. No book was "harmed" for this alteration, the pages are still intact.
The book altered is "A Song of Sixpence" by A.J. Cronin, published in the 1960's.

That's very sweet. It's a lot simpler than most of the designs you usually come up with but for some reason I find it especially captivating. The 3D effect you achieved through folding the pages gives the heart a really nice rounded shape and I like how through the contrast between the textures created by the printed areas and the margins there appear to be more than just one heart in the book.
Plus the picture itself is actually very nice. It would make a great postcard.
A lot simpler in design but the execution was actually harder. Folding is not fun. I see what you mean about the illusion of another heart. I never noticed it before. I never thought about printing it into cards either. Thank you for the advice and critique. It's much appreciated.
