Commissioned piece combining two features of previous works. The costumer wanted the book to close. That wasn't easy, most of the book alters that are done on both sides have to stay open because I need to glue both sides down and the pages can't bend back to the closed position. Luckily, the binding has seen it's better days, so it was pretty cooperative. She also wanted the title to involve birds. Do you know how hard it is to find a title with birds? This was the very last book in a huge box, and I had to keep myself from jumping for joy when I pulled it out. Anyway, we'll see how she likes it.
