Another remake from a previous piece. The clock mechanism is wired through the last 200 or so pages. The back cover has been cut for easy battery changes and adjustment of time. The "gears" are made from layers of pages that have been cut and fixed into place. Again, I'm happier with the remake than the first. This one is a bit cleaner. Amazing how just a year can change how you work.
is it for sale?
This one sold, but I'd be happy to remake it for you. If you're interested send me a note on here or at firstname.lastname@example.org
i loooove this. i love unique clocks. they are so gorgeous.
Thank you! I'm a softie for clocks too, particularly pocket watches, though I haven't figured out how to make one yet lol
This is truly cool ma'am - is it based off a specific piece of literature?
Thank you! No, it's not. The original was called "Make Time to Read" and was made out of an old book I had lying around, I can't remember it's title at the moment. This one was made out of a book called "Snowball".
That is actually amazing!
Nice one! Interesting concept and one which works.
I like the idea of the clock with a book, i have spare clock system i should try to make one for myself... Anyway i love your clock mechanism !
