Alice chats with the Cheshire Cat in this sculpture. The book used is "The Merry Maker" copyright 1947, a collection of samples taken from well known children's stories. Alice and the cat are the original illustrations that I've water colored. SOLD
You should make actual child pop out book's like this !
You know, I've tried to make pop up books. It's too hard! My head just doesn't work like that I guess. Good idea though!
I'm surprised you didn't use a copy of Alice itself for this one.
Honestly, I didn't have one. I try to use what I have on hand before I purchase any new books. Since I posted this, I've gotten four Alice books, the two originals and two more with different illustrations, and I'm trying to figure out what to do with them.
This is interesting and unique. I'll admit... Anything Alice in Wonderland (or even just the Cheshire cat) and I am biased. I love it.
Beautiful!! This is amazing!!
